“I had an extremely positive experience with Michelle-Nicholle as a doula. She was very attentive, helpful and professional from the first prenatal visit to the last postpartum check up. I really wanted to have a natural childbirth. However, things went very differently, and after being two weeks late. I had to be induced. I had a very involved labor that lasted for over 26 hours, and all this time Michelle-Nicholle was by my side helping me to focus on my breathing and showing my husband and my mom other techniques that could help to ease my pain. When I was weak and exhausted, she negotiated with nurses, always making sure that the medical intervention was performed when it was absolutely needed. After a long and intense labor, my son was born – a big healthy boy of 9lbs 1oz. Michelle-Nicholle stayed a few hours after his birth making sure I felt comfortable breastfeeding and handling the baby.
